Just returned from the AIOC Informatics Olympiad Selection School at the ANU in Canberra.
Congrats. and good luck to the IOI 05 team (Chris L., Chris C., Ramana, Alex, Jono [reserve]) heading for Poland.
Informatics School (aka "algorithm camp") consisted of basically a daily ritual of: wakeup, breakfast, walk to CS, 1hr lecture, 2hrs comp lab, walk to burgmann, lunch, walk to CS, 1hr lecture, 2hrs lab, walk to burgmann, dinner, walk to CS, 1hr discussions, some more lab time, walk to burmann, sleep...
so i've actually walked about 60km during that weekand ahalf ..
first free went to LAN gaming, 2nd free saw 'the Interpreter' (nicole kidman) in the city ... the movie was pretty good, except the ending with the anticlimax.
well back home now... with over a week of hw and study to catch up... grrr.... going to be totally screwed over for the HYs...
